The word "love" can have several meanings when used by either men or women. Most of these include some form of "I like you a lot" with additional mental, emotional or physical attractions.
The one use which does seem to be much more prevalent in many (but not all) males is the use of the word to communicate "I was to have sex with you." Females seldom use the word in this context.
Some men have found that the fastest way into a woman's panties is to use the phrase "I love you." Some men as much more honest.

Love should mean spending the rest of his life with the woman he has chosen,marriage,children,and making commitments to each other and just spending quality time as a family. although some won't see it that way.

I hate to generalize, but most men seem to confuse love with lust. I met one man whom I thought knew what love was, but then I found out he was married! If you fine a man who truely knows what love is, send him my way! Maybe then I won't be so cynical.
