I think he needs to wake up -- he's getting married, this isn't a frat night. Get him what you were going to get him -- the memory card -- and tell him they were all out of rubber sex dolls at the rubber sex doll store. If he wants sex toys, he can go shopping with his new wife.
Anyway, a wedding gift should be for both partners, not just him - it's not his birthday! Also, it has to be the type of gift that could be opened by one of the mothers or grandmothers and they would not be offended - because it may well be that that could happen (that is, the bride and her aunt or mother or someone sit down and open everything the next day or when they get back from the honeymoon or something). Wedding conventions say that the bride deals with all the gifts and writes thank you notes for them.
So you should get the memory card for him, then get one nice gift for both of them that will really please her -- something for their house.
Getting sex-related stuff for him or for the two of them will make YOU look weird, especially in the bride's eyes, or at least the relatives' eyes.

Only you can judge if this is innocent question about how to turn on his future wife or whether he is making a pass on you. Only tiny bit of information is given through words themselves. Most (some say it's about 70%) is passed by body language, as well as tone of voice and the circumstances. If you are not sure still - "coincidentally" look through some sex stuff catalog and ask what he would like to have..

What an odd request.
If you feel pressured to purchase him something sexy, get him some little lacy thing from a department store, maybe something they both can enjoy.
Or just get him the card for his camera.

He's definitely weird ... No one buys the groom something sexy for a wedding present (unless it's the bride!)
Better to buy his future wife some sexy lingerie and get her to wear them on the wedding night! I would suggest she tries the stuff on for you before she shows him, but that might cause a few problems!

Who else is gonna buy the man a thong? Go to a sex store, buy something ridiculous, like a thong, sex toy, or lube (or maybe a gift bag?), and give it to him at his bachelor party. Get a nice gift for the couple. Yes, you could get him something useful, but some people believe that a nice gift is one that somebody wants but wouldn't buy for themselves.

you are letting him put you under pressure. Stop letting him do that. Make your own judgment of what you want to give him.
In the future you can joke to him that he asked you to buy him something sexy

He obviously thinks he can trust you so he is asking you stuff and you go spreading this news on the internet. Poor guy. He is getting married. Give him a break.
