Yes. I went to the gynecologist a few days ago. She inserted this camera thing in me and showed me what my ovaries looked like on this screen, she told me they were fine.

They usually feel for the ovaries by pressing on your stomach. I'm not sure how much this tells them besides letting them know you have ovaries. The results from the pap smear will cause them to check more carefully for cervical problems... and I guess they would also check for ovarian problems.
If you think something's wrong with your ovaries, speak up.

Cervical smears are only done every 3 years in the U.K from the ages of 25 - 50 years and then every 5 years from 50 - 65 years of age. The woman then can opt in or out after 65 years of age if she has had 3 consecutive negative smear results and not been treated for cervical cancer.
A cervical smear as it states only takes cells from the mouth of the uterus called the 'os'.
To check the ovaries for problems is not done via the cervical smear but through ultrasound scanning.

They can do a check of the ovaries but nothing thorough. All they do is press on the abdemon and try to press internally on the ovaries at the same time to see if you feel any pain or if they feel any lumps I believe.

Yes. They do this thing where they insert a few fingers, and press them to one side. While applying this pressure, they gently push down on your tummy. This way they can feel for lumps or swelling... and you are certainly going to react if you're having any tenderness.
Let your doctor know BEFOREHAND if you suspect a problem, that way he can be gentler and more thorough.
