I'm with you on this one. I can speak, not only from experience but from an educated perspective, as well. I'm a songwriter/pianist/composer and I also hold an Honours Degree in Applied Music & Composition from The University of York. So I understand what you mean. Music has a vibrational quality that can manipulate and transform us on many different levels - spiritually, emotionally and physically - just to name a few. I love 70's and 80's Rock. The bands that were formed during those years will never be equalled. You only need to listen to the music of great artists like "Genesis" or "Yes" or "Jethro Tull", to feel the power of "good rock". As a musician and lover of music, I enjoy many, many different styles and genres of music. Any one style can be very pleasing to any number of listeners with varying tastes in music, just so long as it is performed well and with sensitivity (in the case of a live performance) or recorded and produced with a keen ear (in the case of a studio recording). But to simply amplify your statement, my dear, "Rock and Roll gets me going, too!!!!!!!"
