Using a solution of Bicarbonate of Soda [which by the way is the main constituent of toothpaste] is cheaper and does exactly tyhe same job.

Another is Milton Sterilising Fluid. Another is Vinegar.

Didn't know that, but then rarely clean my fridge, so no surprises there! If I ever do, I'll bear toothpaste in mind!

Bicarbonate of soda is good as well (never heard of toothpaste), but I have heard it has cleansing properities other than teeth, such as putting it on pimples or boils, and also mouth ulcers.
