According to the Inflationary Universe theory one will happen again. It is just a matter of time and probability.
According to this theory, all matter and energy in the universe is a fluke in the properties of vacuum fluctuation, a common phenomena wherein particles and anti-particles create themselves out of nothingness.
And it doesn't require a big crunch, either. It could be a whole universe popping into existence right inside our own. That would probably hurt.
Don't worry about it. Apparently its a very rare phenomena as it's only happened once thus far (that we know of.) also, there is nothing we can ever do to stop it from happening again so we might as well not worry.

OK 1. Don't listen to people that are telling you the big bang didn't happen. They are very confused and lost individuals, out of tune with the reality of the Universe. The big bang happened people.
And it depends. Do you mean, will our universe collapse and then expand again?
The answer is no. The universe is expanding too quickly to collapse. Essentially, the energy which is the universe will eventually pull itself apart so fast all matter as we know it will not be able to exist as we know it. Stars will collapse, life on planets will die out...
But this isn't going to happen for some 50 billion years ^^
However, a 'Big bang' could happen again I guess if you are into string theory and multiple universes.

According to the pulsating theory, the universe originated by a process called the Big Bang and the universe will expand until a certain limit then the universe will start to contrate until it becomes a protostar where its density will be extremely high. Then the universe will expand by Big Bang. This process keeps on continuing. When the next cycle begins(second time the universe originates), the laws of physics will be different.

The big bang is the most approved answer for how the universe began.
Some answers are how the universe will end.
-The universe will continue expanding and expand forever.
-The universe will gradually stop expanding.
-The Big Crunch, it is a theory that the universe would collapse on itself.
If the big crunch happens there is a possibility that a big bang will happen

I don't think there was a big bang. I think the stars and planets are just spots on the lungs of a gigantic being during a billion year inhale.

According to a theory, Yes.
When many black holes will come into existence, they will start sucking everything inside them and eventually all matter will be sucked into a BIG BLACK HOLE. Then all the matter wich would be confined in such a small volume, will explode creating another Big Bang!!!

No. The universe will keep expanding indefinitely, everything gradually approaching zero degrees Kelvin. The universe's rate of expansion is such that gravity will never gather all of its matter together again, as would be necessary for such an event to occur.

Some theories say it will, and some say it won't. We do not have enough data to say for certain. The people who quote Bible verses and tell us we need to read the Bible are the ones who need to read science books and to question their premature beliefs. Genesis creation is so naive I could hardly believe it when I was age eight. It's sad that my sister and many people will never know as much as I did at such an early age.

I think there has to be a big crunch before there can be another big bang.
