I don't think so, cause everyone has different bodies. Some people go their entire lives with out strep throat, but I get it all the time. and some people get Gall stones while others don't.

no, everyone does not get their appendix out, nor does everyone get their tonsils out. while the function of the appendix is controversial, it is believed that it is related to the immune system. the only time that someone would need to have this removed is if it gets inflamed (appendicitis), or irritated. this could lead to infection that could be detrimental to someones health. if you eat healthy and lead a healthy lifestyle, it should not be expected that you should have you appendix removed. I have heard docs say that if their is a problem, and they go in to check out what is going on and don't find anything, they will remove the appendix just because, even if it isn't a problem.
With regards to tonsillectomies (having the tonsils removed), not everyone needs to have this done either. However, if the tonsils pose a problem, such as recurrent infections, they will remove them. The tonsils are also part of the immune system though, and sometimes (not always) if they are large, they can be associated with sleep apnea (when someone stops breathing while they are sleeping), sometimes to treat sleep apnea (if the tonsils are the cause of the condition), doctors will remove the adenoid tonsil (one of the tonsils), but they do have the ability to grow back occasionally. (there are five tonsils all together, one adenoid, two pharyngeal and two palatine, these surround the oral cavity and help to protect against inhaled or ingested foreign matter. the ones that you can see in the back of your throat are the pharyngeal tonsils, and these are the ones that are typically removed during a tonsillectomy). I hope this info helps.
Also, i still have all of my tonsils and my appendix.

The appendix isn't used for much any more. When we were cave people, it was necessary, but now - no. I'm sure eventually people will be born without one. Anyway, unless it is causing problems there is no need to have it out. Same with tonsills.

Not everyone but it may seem like it. There are a lot of people that have it removed for unexplained acute abdominal pain.Sometimes there actually is something wrong with it, other times not. It's something that you dont want to have burst though. As far as the tonsills go, unless you have repeated infections or enlarged tonsills that interfer with your breathing, then they wont be taken out.

No, you only have to get your appendix out if it's going to burst or something, which is pretty uncommon. Also, not everyone gets their tonsils out, either, only if they get infected or are causing problems. My brother got his tonsils out when he was 5, and I still have mine at 18, probably will always have them.

For both your appendix and tonsils, they're taken out only if they cause problems.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

no it doesn't...it just happens to select people that have problems with it or when it bursts....but it does not happen to everyone....check your family history...if it happens a lot in your family then it might happen to you

same with tonsils....you can live your life with them in there....not everyone gets them out

Yeah, it will happen to most people and maybe it will to you and maybe not, but I have thought about it once or twice. I wondered if it would ever burst, but only time will tell. It hasn't happened yet, so I'm not that worried about it. Just try to keep yourself healthy and try to keep your stress level down. You'll be fine gal.
