Go to the bank and request to open up a "Christmas account." You're not allowed to withdraw money from it but make deposits only. About a month before Christmas, the bank will issue you a check from this account. And there you have your money for the trip.

If you can't afford the trip you shouldn't be trying to afford a wedding.. however you could always get a 2nd job or a first if you do not already have one and try and put in overtime... If this man feels the same about you have him foot half the bill it wouldn't kill him.

So what's wrong with him giving you the money? If this is not a mutual feeling then you shouldn't be going there in the first place!!!

to be there for the reason you are going....you shouldn't care about the price......depending where you are, it could be cheaper to fly, and rent a car.........if that is not an option, see about getting a ride along that will pay his/her own way...including half the gas

Get a part time job, recycle cans, babysit, wash cars....
