Any time hydrolics is in play damage can occur very quickly. Pot holes become larger quicker.

because a POT HOLE starts out as a small hole then everytime it rains it gets a little water in it when someone runs over the hole it throws the water out along with some of the surrounding material and that makes the hole bigger all a pot hole needs to form is a small crack or a little hole that you wouldnt even notice running over but most damage is not done to roads in the rainy season it is done in winter when roads freeze (unless you live were it is not cold enough to freeze) then it is done by water

It's usually during winter after a hard freeze and quick thaw. Pavement expands and contracts, so the weaker areas will develop potholes.

Poor workmanship, patchy jobs, not enough time to set, these surfaces are done very quickly and cannot withstand the traffic, its not concret, its bitchimen.
