I have been at my job for over 18 years and I keep having this dream that I quit and then want to come back. Any answers on what this might mean. I have been wanting to make a change.

There may be some discontent in your job. Dreaming of quitting of job could mean you want to have new challenging or changes. Going back again means that you are indecisive. You can't make up you own mind. It could mean that you are the person who may worry too much. You are into the midst of balance your future/life or your ambition.

It can be wishful thinking, it can mean that you fear that if you did leave you wouldn't get as good a job as before and want to go back. What emotion do you experience when you dream this? That is important. The dream could also be a phophecy that is telling you not to leave your job just yet, the right opportunity has not come along for you, but only an opportunity that is not as good.

The dream could merely be a projection of your desire to quit; The part of your dream where you want to come back after doing so could represent your fear of quitting in the first place (since you've been working there so long) and could also represent your indecision and hesitation at making a drastic change after so long.

I think in reality, you are not so sure about quitting your job. If you really want to leave, you would have left long time ago. What this dream might mean? Well, I think it means make up your mind.

Maybe you are afraid of making the wrong choice for a major decision in life. Listen to your instincts when it comes time to make that decision and don't burn your bridges.
