In terms of features for your dollar and a great (10 year) warranty, you get the most by buying a Hyundai. But the mileage isn't great. If you want really good mileage, you need to get a hybrid like a Prius, and that is not a low to medium budget car. Nor is it fast.

Pontiac G6 GTP, only $23,490 and thats the base msrp for the coupe so its going to be more like $21,500 for the base or something like that 240 HP 18 city 24 highway. i dont recommend amarican cars but this has been a good car havent heard bad things about it only minor stuff that happens to other cars

I would suggest either a Honda Civic or Accord. Or a Mazada 3 or Matrix. Or Pontiac Vibe.
All of these vehicles are great price, dont eat all the gas you put into it!!!

Look into Kias...great highway milage...i can drive 30 miles and the gas thing has not moved...they have a 10 year warranty or 100,000 miles...i got mine in 2003 we got the basics on it and it was a little 13,000 dollars

Suzuki Swift, you can't drive fast, if you want to go on a race track, this car is really zippy, great for fuel, and its hot!

Good gas mileage.
Fun Car... Handles Awesome.
Convertible.
Faster than civics...
About the same speed as a 6 cyl. dodge avenger.
Top down he beat me.
Top up I beat him (aerodynamics).
Plenty of aftermarket parts (Speed parts, bodykits, suspension)
