I recently noticed a bright red spot on my face - size of a large pin prick. What could this be?

FYI, I gave birth 5 months ago and have been under moderate amount of stress. I've also noticed I'm developing a couple brown spots on my face as well. But this red spot looks like blood trapped beneath the skin. What can I do? Thanks!

It's probably a cherry angioma. They are harmless and caused by dialated blood cells. They can be removed by electrocautery, laser surgery, or other surgical therapies. I think there are some spas that offer treatment for them.
