In Britain, Australia and some European countries it refers to the female genitalia/vaginal area.
Sometimes, it's also used as an abbreviation for "Fanny Adams", which is an obsolete nautical term for "tinned meat".

It's according where you are at. It might mean one thing in one country and something else in another. In United States it is your butt, behind, a--, anus what ever you want to call it. If it means something else somewhere else look in that places dictionary.
