I don't mean disliking a person, either. I mean hating someone so bad that you can't even look at their name without feeling ill. Have you ever felt like that?

I won't go into details why I hate this person, but I can promise you that if you'd been through what I have, you'd hate them too, with a hate that burns with the fire of a million suns. Death and dismemberment would be too good for this person. I was just wondering if anyone else out there felt that way.

Yes. Prior to my salvation I would, on occasion, hate a person to the point that I contemplated murder, I would even plan it out in my head down to the last detail so that I would not get caught. But God had a better plan for me and the Holy Spirit was always able to keep me under control. It may seem strange for a preacher and pastor to talk about this, but to tell you the truth most preachers and pastors have gone through similar experiences prior to being saved. In fact, the pastor that has taught me everything I know about prison ministery is a convicted murderer and spent three years on Texas deathrow before being granted clemency. Most pastors come out of a shady past into the bright sunlight of God's glory and end up being mighty men and women for God. Hate is a sin and is derived from anger, which is a sin. Most sin has its root in pride which is rooted in fear. Get rid of the fear in your life, and the sin goes away. Look at the reason why you hate the person you do, and then forgive them. Obviously he/she has done something to you that you did not approve of---he/she crossed a boundary line that they should not have. He/she did it either through ignorance or deliberately. In either case you must forgive. If you continue to let this eat away at you, then you will develop serious physical, mental and spiritual complications. All disease is rooted in the mind as a thought. I am not trying to preach some weird metaphysics, I am telling you what i know to be fact. Try love instead of hate. Forgive rather than seek vengence. Ask for God's help. Jesus loves you.

Yes! I feel your emotion and for some reason I believe you are justified to feel that way . In a while when you have done the work that you need to do you will need to let go. If you keep this feeling any longer than you need to then they win. Once you can give it up you will be in control once more! And the Good Lord knows you have been put through enough all ready!
Hopes this makes sense and helps some!

Who is it that you hate? Hopefully not me. I'd hate to feel your wrath.
Yes, I think you know who I hate. B, M & T. I don't think I'd bat an eyelash if all three of them dropped dead. I've had to go through hell for a while because of all of them. The world would be a happier place for alot of people if they were gone. I think all of them have skrewed up so many people's lives, that I wouldn't be the only one jumping up and down for joy if they croaked. Thanks for the 2 pts, sil.
Oh, I forgot to add J.

Why would you choose to feel so bad? Happiness is the one true choice we have in life, and we are the only one that can make that choice for ourself. To allow another person or event to make that choice for you, then blame them for it, does not allow you to realize the true source of your misery, or that you have the power to change your happiness in life, by simply choosing in favor of it. But the choice is yours.

No, I don't let my negative emotions run that high. Such things actually do more damage to the thinker than they do the hated.
