One of the toughest questions I've seen yet. If I remember right, the serpent was how satan was able to create original sin. I feel that the serpent was not truly created evil. It like us was created the way God wanted it to. God just made it too vulnerable that even Satan was able to influence it. When Satan had taken over, the rest is history. Good question!

Where is the Bible verse which confirms that God created a serpent in the Garden of Eden? That serpent could have sneaked in from elsewhere.

God did not create anything evil.

The Devil was a good angel named Lucifer. Like us, Lucifer had free will. Lucifer abused his free will and became evil. All the angels that decided to follow lucifer became demons.

Lucifer became known as Satan and was put in the unquenchable fires of hell with all the other demons. These evil beings want to get back at God by getting him where it hurts - by corrupting his children - mankind.

The end of times will come and there will be a final reconing of accounts. God can't destroy all the evil people because he does not want to take the chance of destroying some of the good. Read the parable of the weeds and wheat in the Gospel of Mathew. Don't ask that the second coming be make quicker, don't wish that an evil person be sent to hell prematurely, don't complain. Just be the best person you can be, ask to have Jesus in your heart, go to church, read scripture, pray and live a virtuous upright life.

First of all, evil is really any thought that encourages actions contrary to God.It was never meant to affect mankind but because of disobedience in the garden of Eden by mankind we now have to make choices of whether to do good or evil and some people find it easier to do the latter. In the Book of Genesis there was no knowledge that evil existed until the fruit was eaten.

The serpent was not necessarily evil in the very beginning. It was only when Satan chose to take on that form, when it was cursed as such.

Also, God did not create evil. Evil is the absense of good (much in the same way that darkness is the absense of light [remove a light bulb, and it's not that darkness increases, but rather, light decreases], and cold is the absense of heat [we cannot measure in degrees of 'cold', since absolute zero is as low as possible, but add a little heat energy, and it gets measurably warmer]...). God knew of what is "good" and "evil". But it was Satan who chose to act out evil (that is, doing a deed that is without any trace of goodness).

It was all good until Satan came aboard. The most heinous character flaw was PRIDE. Satan or Lucifer as we call him became prideful with his beauty and musical talents. We can read about him as the King of Tyre in the book of Ezekiel. Lucifer was the most favored Cherub until he was filled with pride and elevated himself above God. Well you know God has the knowledge of both Good and Evil because he made one of the trees in the Garden of Eden as the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God knows about evil but does not choose it for He is holy. Like the trinity, God said man and women will become like Us, for disobeying God and turned Adam and Eve from the tree fo life. Man has freewill and angels don't, they dont have freewill and neither did Satan. God did not make robots but made man to choose and with free choice there are consequences. With first Adam we all die now with suffering but with the Second Adam Jesus Christ we are reborn and gain eternal life. That tree of life which was denied after Adam ate from the tree of knowledge, now Christ is that tree of life, the tree is the cross, for he died on a tree is now given to us. Now does that blow your mind or what. Jesus was a carpenter and he must have thought a lot what was going to happen, he had to work on something that he was going to have to suffer and die on. He died for us so that we may live. God turned Satan into a serpent after tempting Adam and Eve. God knew this beforehand, making a cosmic battle until Armaggedon. Whose side are you on. We have death with Adam and life with Christ. There never would be salvation or redemption without death and damnation. the opposite are there to color the world the way God intended from the very beginning of time.

Satan was once an Angel. But like mankind, he
rebelled, and then he fell to earth and began his
dark ministry on earth and started by tempting
Adam and Eve in the beautiful garden, and like
mankind, they thought the fruit was just too
enticing to not eat, even tho God warned them
about it ahead of time. We too are warned of
certain evil, but we're enticed by looks, sex,
taste, feelings, etc. so we too partake of evil
which eventually brings us down and causes
our lives to be ruined.

Well, good won't exsist if there's no evil. like hot and cold or light and dark. if there was only good it woudn't be called that way because this type of things should always have opposites. And the story of creation wasn't proven to be true. It's a myth. The writer of that was a human being and we tend to use all aommon literary devices like poetry, folklore, myth, legend etc. hope this explains it.

Although God created all things, he did give everything the freedom of choice, weather or not to follow Him or go you own way
