when you wake up about 6-7 o clock, and go back to sleep, you have really vivid and wierd dreams! I know loads of people who the happen to, including myself, is there some kind of scientific explaination for this!?

some studies have indicated that people always dream equally vividly and wierdly, but that they rarely remember dreams on waking, unless they wake during or shortly after the dream has ended

if that is true, it would mean that we remember our "morning" dreams much better because we are likely to wake during or shortly after the dream

in some studies where people were wakened during dreams in the night, they had more vivid recall of the dreams than they did if allowed to finish sleeping and wake naturally

You now I have always wondered that myself. That is the only time I remember any dreams. And they are always wild a vivid at the time of the morning and it only seems to happen if I wake up around that time and fall back to sleep. Thanks for asking that I would also like any ideas on why that occurs..

You only dream for about five seconds before you wake which is why a lot of dreams have some relevance to what is happening around you as you wake
