I feel sorry for the fish that suffer from this terrible affliction. Having gills that quarrel with eachother, not only means the fishes mouth is full of hate and bile all the time, it also requires the fish to breathe with one gill at a time, while the other shouts abuse. It must give the fish a splitting headache, which also would make it easy and rather loud prey for bigger fish. Should the affliction be catchy, the quarreling fish gills in ponds, lakes and seas will ease work for the fishermen though, if not their miserable lives. Imagine the banter on such trailers, just when the men thought they had left their quarreling girls at home!

Because they do not agree on something so they quarrel. Same for any other living thing.
