I need some crafts ideas for my friends birthday and for holiday gifts. Does anyone know how to make birthday,greeting,holiday cards? I want to also learn how to make candles. Please give me some ideas, tips,advice.

Oriental Trading has some really great stuff for crafts. You can choose things from their to create a party, or things to make your own crafts with, depending on your level of skill. Check it out. That is the site I get most of my arts & crafts for my kids at home, for church parties, and for home parties.

go to the library, go to the art/craft section.
You will find much more info on all you ask for than I could possibly write. Nicely illustrated too.

hgtv.com - the carol duvall show - usually has some very interesting ideas! You may have to go through her archive.. but it is worth it. The Carol Duvall Show is also on diynet.com
