Yellowstone Park is the remains of a caldera....a volcano....The geysers and hot springs are clear evidence of continuing volcanic activity near the surface. There is no evidence at this time that the underlying magma will be erupting anytime soon. But, given time it will erupt again; maybe tomorrow....maybe 1,000 years from now.

History channel last night was showing the Story of Moses and how it is proven true Biblically, Geollogically, Georgraphically and Archeologically. When the people left Egypt they were able to do it because of Santorini erupting and fire by night/smoke by day. this is the Gas and blisters and sun blackened, etc.
Makes me kind of worry right now with all the volcanic and earthquake activity going on.
People in Fla and North Carolina have reported smelling methane gas and lower oxygen in the water levels which will lead to a tsunami eventually.
When you see the quakes, get to go every day, get away from the fault lines and the water ways. My advice, follow the animals they will know when.

Not that natural disasters should be dismissed, but the largest threat by far, the most likely - would be World War III and of that given the testiness of the nuclear nations - Earth titters on the edge of global genocide.

Tis as the first dude says...a super volcano...the magma pot underneath Yellowstone would lay waste to all of Wyoming. The layers of nastiness that volcano would produce could indeed smite the entire planet.
either that or it is the super big poo I did behind a bush there last year...if it were to fall into the wrong hands it could be used as a chemical weapon

its the volcano they have there, when that goes they reckon it will destroy up to 4 states surrounding it and will cause the temprature of the planet ot cool by as much as 3 degree's
