They are most definitely stuck on - I used to live next door to him and when he was mowing his lawn he didn't used to put them on. It was only when he went out of the front door that they appeared on his face. He used to stick them on a painting of his gran as he went in the front door (a bit like chewing gum) and then unstick them on way out. So now you know.
