is there any site in the united kingdom were you can download "dial up set up discs" from
i am setting up a dial up connection for a elderly freind and dont have a free set up disc
or does anyone know the numbers for bt,tiscali,or wannadoo so i can connect manually

Bt is 0845750000, but you still need to phone them to set it up.
There aren't many discs about now, I'd go to the respective site and email them for the setup numbers and passwords

the number for the provider depends on the country u r in, but u should be able to find out those numbers when u go on their respective site in ur country, there u should have the number listed, which does not require any setup discs or anything...

There isnt a dialup disk! Go to the isp site and get the dialup info you need and then run the internet connection wizard!
