Once you have hurt a person there will never be complete trust or forgiveness! Not 100% - that is just how the human heart is. People never forget being hurt! Have you?(Regardless of how or what happened). It will forever be in the back of their hearts and minds. There truly is no going back into a relationship and have it as good or better then it was when it was pure and unscathed. It is Unfortunate to say this but "Life only goes forward - never back"! My advise would be to sincerely apologize for any wrong doing you have done to this person simply because it is the right thing to do. (If you are lucky)- it may be possible to rebuild a friendship, but I seriously doubt it would ever be much more then that...if even a friendship is possible - depending on what you did to hurt this person. At best you should learn that it is never a game when a persons feeling are at stake and learn from this experience so as not to ever have it happen again. I truly wish you the best of luck in your future choices.

Depends on how you hurt the guy to be honest - now i believe once something has come to an end then it is ended and there is no going back - if you made a mistake learn from it and ask yourself what prompted you to make the mistake in the first place - too many people dwell on 'what if' - life is short and usually the best way is forward thinking obviously reflecting on your own ups and downs - be friends b4 you can be more then see where it goes

Well there was something wrong in the first place if you done something enough to hurt them and make them your ex. Maybe you just feel guilty about hurting another person and you actually don't want them back. First just tell them that you're not trying to get back with them and apologise. That way it won't seem that you're only apologising to get them back. Apologise first and then see how things go from there.

timing first of all what did you do to hurt him????and if he is the one for you.time and patience and maybe an apology
like the old say love is like a butterfly set it free if it returns to you it was meant to be. if he does come back learn from the mistakes that you have made and try not to make them again.
relationships are about growing together and as you do things will get stronger and better with time good luck

Its very unlikely that you will be able to get back with him if you hurt him, i think your better off just finding someone else, sure you can apoligize but once you've hurt them it'll be very hard to get any kind of trust etc.. back in the relationship, but obviously this isnt what you want to hear, if you really wanna get back with him then just talk to him, explain that your sorry and that you'll change anything to make him happy, but obviously if he wants you to change too much then your better off without him, and i think hes better off without you...

Best revenge is absolute and total joy in your own self. Anger and need for vengence will only eat you up. Take some time to mourn the loss, then make some changes in your life so you can find happiness. Smile big, even when you feel like spitting or crying.

You don't. You just have to force yourself to move on. Take the lesson from this experience and use it to avoid similar situations in the future. All the best.
