Probability is an inexact math but works on average. Drop three pennies and it is hard to predict how many will be heads or tails. Drop a hundred and there will be almost as many heads as tails. Drop a million and likely there will be exactly 50 -50 for practical purposes. Probability allows us to measure the temperature of a gas because it gives the average temperature of billions of molecules all of which are constantly changing. It has been said that it is probable that steam can exist in ice or ice in steam if you take a snapshot of the instantaneous velocities of a small group of water molecules. But a nanosecond later they are probably back to average temperature. I know a lady who always visited the paddock before a horse race to check for large rump muscles; to reduce the probability of losing her money. Hope that helps a little. Of course you probably already knew the correct answer, right?

Well a while ago I came to the conclusion that chance doesn't really exist, it is just the lack of information available resulting in an unpredictable outcome. It all depends on the variables involved. If all the variables were acounted for then there would be no need for varying probability, you could be 100% certain of the outcome.

You are asking this question because the answer can be either yes or no. Probability is the study of the number of chances. so your question proves there is probability.

No, of course not. It is well established that the state of the universe from one moment to the next follows a precise plan. God does not want us to know about the future, for we would be frightened or exploitive, but He does make the plan. Don't worry, every moment you will be okay or struck dead and there's nothing you can do about it.
