Probably because they remind you of your strapping third cousin Hans, the botanist. You remember, the one who went off to live in the mountains when you were about 13? The summer before he left, he taught you all about pollination. From what I gather, those lessons were quite stimulating. Hence, the fondness for lederhosen. It's all pretty logical, actually.

well it's always nice to see a bit of leg, and the fun of corrupting the innocence of an Aryan farmhand is not to be underestimated. Plus there's a possibility that the German overtones work as a displacement fantasy concealing your real desire for a bit of SS S&M action.
