Einstein was married twice. His first wife was Mileva Maric and they had Three children. Einstein's marriage to Mileva was not a particularly happy one. In 1914, they separated.

In 1917, Einstein fell ill. Stomach problems, ulcers and liver complaints dogged him for four long years. During this period he saw little of Mileva. It was his cousin Elsa that nursed him back to health. Having made a partial recovery by 1919, Einstein and Mileva were divorced and in the same year he married Elsa in Berlin. While Elsa and Albert had no children of their own, Elsa's daughters legally took the name Einstein.

So, I really don't see any convincing material in his life to indicate that he was gay. I've even read some accounts of very flirtatious behavior with young women and even some suspected love affairs with young women.

The public knowledge of Albert Einstein's personal life indicates that he was actually a bit of a womanizer. This view is also supported through his personal correspondence which is now largely public. Wikipedia states:

"Letters written by Einstein to his relatives and kept at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, have revealed that during the course of his life, he had a dozen lovers, two of whom he married.[50] Barbara Wolff of the Hebrew University's Albert Einstein Archives has made public about 3,500 pages of correspondence including letters to his first and second wives and children between the years 1912-1955. In letters to his second wife Elsa and her daughter Margot he claimed that he had been showered with unwanted attention from women. One of his lovers, a Berlin socialite Ethel Michanowski, "followed me [to England], and her chasing me is getting out of control.""

Just as an aside, in your question you added a note that "gay means man/woman". It isn't at all clear what that addition means.

He was believed to have Asperger's syndrome, which is a light form of autism. It is believed this made him able to form the theories he did.
But gay? Why in the whole world?
