Because California is full of people who are full of theirselves. The whole U.S. would be better off without the land of prune picker, picknicners and prik lickers... the land of fruits and nuts. I for would hope it breaks off... and soon... and I'm not the least bit jealous about California, or anyone who lives there... they are all a bunch of Californicators.

If CA fell into the ocean it would send the US into a financial depression that would signal the demise of the US. You people don't realize how important California is to the US. CA is responsible for providing 85-90% of the worlds micro chips. There isn't much of anything that we use on a regular basis that doesn't require a micro chip.
As for people, natives are laidback, it's the people that move to CA that gives the state a bad reputation. NY is far worse than CA.
