Here is how i do it to make sure that water doesnt leak in: put your goggles on your eyes with the straps hanging down towards ur chin, if they will stay without havin any holes, the goggles are right 4 u (this is called suction), if they fall off or don't seem 2 fit, try a diff pair. I hope i helped!

well probably the best answer is to get new goggles
you need to make sure the goggles you buy fit your face. The ones you are using now probably are to big or small so you should buy new ones and fit them like so:
place your hands in front of the lens and press them against your face lightly WITHOUT PUTTING ON THE STRAP
if they stick for a few seconds and then fall then you know they are the correct size and you should purchase them
if they fall too early or are unconfortable then they are not right for you
also as a sidenote the way you put on your goggles doesnt effect the quality of the water seal

after wearing the swimming cap,
pull the rubber strap of the goggles onto the back of the head, then fit the goggles onto your eyes, the friction between the cap and strap will prevent it from slipping off..

Try tightening them. If they have a nose adjustment strap inbetween the eyes, try making it smaller. If that doesn't work, try pressing them to your face. And if THAT doesn't work, go get yourself some new, high quality goggles.

the correct way is the way of the product. they should all have instructions on them either on the back of the package or a paper that tells you how to care for it.
now why the water gets in ur googles is because its loose. it has to be a BIT tight but dont make it realy tight. just adjust it to where its comfortable and when no water can get in.
now if ur diving into the pool with ur googles thats a different story.
for this youll need to practice how to dive properly since if u dive wrong water can get into ur googles or ur googles can break completly or u can have ur google slip off....
thats happened to me before when i frist started divng into pool
