Is it because you don't know how to make an avatar? Is it because you are afraid of revealing too much of yourself? Please tell me - these smiley boxes are driving me crazy.

Not all of us are techno-computer genesis like you young people.
computers and the way of computers do not come easy or automatic to us. When I went to school we researched a term paper using a card catalog in the library, we took typing not key boarding, and one computer was large enough to fill an entire room.
I did post a question asking how I could get one of those cool pic's, I didn't even know it was called an avatar. (sounds like a space warrior to me)
Someone was kind enough to tell me where to find them. Took me forever to figure out how to make one. Now I can't figure out how to get the avatar to show up HERE! It will show up in my e-mail but not here.
Why don't you explain rather than criticize! I would like to see an Avatar but I wasn't raised with computer knowledge!!!!

I think they show the smiley faces for those who haven't bothered or have'nt figured out how to make an avatar.

I did it via having a Yahoo 360 web page, including my photo, then flow into edit my settings or account or in spite of it says less than my information in My Q&A in Yahoo solutions, then click on the photo less than Yahoo 360.
