To answer a really stupid question would mean giving a stupid answer. I'll shout loudly at the door of my locker '46! 16! 44! Open sesame!' Maybe I'll shout until the locker finally opens....that'll just prolong my years of education in school, that's all.

turn it 3 times towards the rite til u reach 46.
turn it 2 times towards the left til u reach 16
turn it 1 time back towards the rite til u reach 44 n open it!!!

46 right, 16 left after a turn around, and 44 right...Pull said apparatus down...That should do the trick...

First, spin the dial twice clockwise to clear it.
Clockwise to 46
Back to 16, but pass it the first time
Forward to 44, but on that turn.
Pull up the bar or lever

if its a spin dial you turn the dial until the numbers line up with the place marked on the lock.
