Did anyone hear interview with David Soul about his character Mack Sennet?

He described him as a fun character to play as he was somewhat...........what is the missing adjective please?.

I have loved David Soul since the 70's and I am obviously a middle aged woman now, but I watched that interview and I missed exactly the same bit as you, what a good question. Will look forward to the replies.
