The youth you could say hold the future in their hands. They will be tomorrow's adult and need to find their purpose in their lives whatever it may be in some type of channel of what they want to be when they grow up. They should have more vocational classes in the US. In Japan they have vocational schools which leads to good jobs. Instead of being graded all the time they should cater to each individual and their time frame when they need to finish certain projects. They should try church and find their purpose like the book "Purpose Driven Life" Check on the internet. There are so many problems that to solve just one of them would be an important achievement. The youth have the whole future ahead to solve all these problems like the environment, poverty, politics, music, art, diseases, etc. The entire world is before them to solve there is no end to problems and we must all tackle them one at a time.

Ok let me do your homework for you since you are too lazy.
3 minutes is NOTHING, speak slowly when you talk and enuciate all of your words and do not say 'Ya know', 'like', and 'um'. Below is a quick rambling that can easily be stretched to 10 minutes.
What are the expectations of todays youth? Is the youth of today really the lazist generation. When generations before us were going to war and working, the generation of today is sitting by the internet blaming others for their problems. The youth of today expects everything and is not satisfied with anything. The youth has been coddled by mommy and daddy and are very ill prepared to take on the challenges of the modern world. American's are quickly being known as the most ignorant people in the world because of this coddling.

Well, todays youth do alot more volunteer work then in the past. (This might be due to high school requirements, and college applications.) So, they are making a difference in people's lives...like when they visit elderly folks in a nursing home, the old folks love the younger kids, and give a special bond. Hope this helps. You might can find statistics from the 1000 points of light foundation, or something. Good luck!

I assume you are one of "today's youth." What are some of your expectations about the future? What sort of work do you expect to do? What do you expect the world to be like? What do some of your friends think about the same topics? What have you achieved so far in life? (Good grades? Sports recognition? Artistic/creative interests?) What have some of your friends achieved?
Yeah, it's a dull topic so approach it with a sense of fun. You just might surprise yourself.

I just read an interesting article about how today's youth are more relaxed in the way they dress and their manors than their parents and grandparents were. It makes them appear to be rude or disorderly to older people at times, when in reality they do not mean to be rude or improper. I believe I read it on yahoo, as a matter of fact, in the news I get on my Yahoo home page. Hope that helps you somehow.
