No, but if I was sitting next to anyone sweating and talking Arabic, I would be nervous regardless of them being black, white or yellow. We are too PC in this country. If 6 foot blonde men in Saudi were known as suicide bombers, you can bet your life every single one would get stripped search. This country is a soft touch and we are too frightened of offending the minority groups. I would be searched and would never complain. Problem is passengers will start to do this, so profiling needs to be bought in asap.

Damn right. I have never been abroad, and wanted to see the glory of the Manhattan skyline first of all, and visit the WTC, before going on to see various other cities with similar skylines (Hong Kong, Singapore San Francisco, etc). Asian terrorism has now made this impossible. A whites-only flight is now the only thing that would restore my confidence, but thought the PC brigade would never allow this. I hope thios becomes an option when booking flights in the future. After all, Alton Towers were quite pleased to book a "Moslems only" day, without too much of a stink. White people should have the same choice when booking flights, as hijacking and Islam go hand in hand.

People can think whatever they like and don't need hairy arm pitted lefties telling them off so that they can feel all smug and morally superior.
If I saw a group of youths standing on the side of the road wearing dark hooded tops and looking shady would I be wrong to want to cross the road? Of course not. But If those youths happened to be black, I would immediately be branded a racist. So if some nervous people were concerned about some shady looking guys at an airport then they were very very right. Just because they were Asian and the "racist" flag comes flying out.
I ******* hate lefties.

I am of mixed race, so my skin is as dark as an Asian bloke, although I am of White / Afro American origin. I have absolutly no problem whatsoever with being picked out for speacial treatment and attention at airports, because if the auth. are being vigilent enough, then quite bloody right they should pick me out!
I'd rather get frisked checked and questioned than get on a plane where anyone looking like me wasnt carefully investigated.
Agreed terrorists do come in all shapes sizes creeds and colours, but only the islamic fundementalist nutters are constanlty trying to blow up/ crash planes with 100s of innocent people.
So I say, if you see me getting on a plane, you are quite right to take a 2nd look and make sure Im not up to anything dodgy... honest I wont be offended, and neither shoyuld anyone with a couple of brain cells to rub together who has the same appearance as mine.

No it was hysterical and stupid. Not to mention racist. The Captain and crew on the plane shold have had more sense and calmed the passengers down, although I have heard reports this morning that said the captain was the one who asked for them to be removed. Put yourself in the reverse position. As the only european person on a plane filled with asian passengers and they insisted you be removed as your presence there could result in a bomb being placed aboard the plane and then you get hauled off. How would you feel as an innocent traveller just wanting to get to your destination? I would be bloody annoyed to put it mildly.

It was not only the fact they were Asian, but they were the only ones dressed for winter and talked in hushed voices and kept looking at their watches. You cannot trust anybody in this world to do their job properly, so under these circumstances the passengers were absolutely right. Just imagine if they took off and the security was wrong [as it tends to be] and the passengers were right.

In this day and age, who can you trust??? It is not just a problem with terrorists but people in general. My Nanna told me that when she was a child, people left doors unlocked and no one bothered, I used to play out till late on a night and my parents weren't worried if I'd be snatched, raped or murdered. Race does not decree that you are a terrorist, rapist or murderer, whether you will abuse, rob, or attack, that is a persons own choice.
If I had been on that plane I don't know what I would have done, you will never know unless you are in that situation.

Wrong=Yes, to a point
It is a natural reaction for people to fear people that pose as ordinary passengers simply so that they can get up close and kill as many "innocent" people as they can.
What did the terrorist tacticians expect: No backlash to their covert killing sprees...
The killers wanted terror, they have succeeded in making people justifiably scared. And as we all know people can react in odd ways when they are scared, from running away, to killing without thought and actual just cause...
I expect there will be more blood on this issue in the future.
Terrorists:
that is what I would call that an "own goal", well done you have brought further unnecessary persecution on your people, Allah must be proud...

its bad that people have to feel that way, but as terrorists are of that creed, and we are on a high terror alert, I totally understand their reactions. I would probably have second thoughts about flying too.
The problem is that the terrorists look like normal people so its impossible to tell, all we hear in the news is neighbours saying 'he was such a lovely boy, very quiet and dedicated to his family' etc, so its impossible to tell.
Its a sad world we live in.

Not right..... in terms of making a racist decision; but certainly right to follow their instincts.
I haven't heard about the incident. If they simply got off the plane and took another one, then it makes perfect sense.
If they insisted that the Asians were taken off the plane, then absolutely not.
We have to deal with our own fears and prejudices ourselves not throw them onto others.
