I had a bet with myself that this question would get your attention... Notice that I have NOT given my point of view on this.

Fate spelled backward is etaf and this is highly significant. Add a y to the end and you have etaffy which is something folks chew while reading email.

Yes I believe in fate - i give an example - if i chose to walk into town and had two options, I would obviously have to choose one way as I cannot be in two places at once - therefore - walking the chosen path to town I may meet someone I may not have met had I have chosen the other path - I believe you create your own fate and I dont read into this pre destined path that is layed out - although I do believe we interact with each other when paths are crossed in general (buddhism maybe)

yes.
our lives are not mathematically mapped out like a computer program but things are destined to happen.
the timing of these events are down to the choices we make, do we go left or right etc...
but fate is when we are in a place at a time that we were meant to be.
the biggest problem is recognising what our individual fates are. the things that happen before, during and after are lessens we need to develop our personalities and help mould our character.

No I don't.
If I believed in fate, then I think I could have chosen my way of life. Instead it has been inflicted on me, probably from a former life's mis-guided doings. But then do you really believe all that rubbish?
If you believe in fate, you may be one of these morons who reads horoscopes and hangs out in bars, wanting ever so to chat to some sexy person but has never the bottle.
Fate is a creation. Please consult Bohr and Heisenberg. Make life yours and help others.

What a stupid thing to believe in! That's like saying you have no free choice... your life is already mapped out for you so why make a decision on anything.

Fate is for losers and people not smart enough to make a decision or the respnsibility to stand behind a poorly made one!

I don't believe in fate as a divine plan, but I believe that event A must always lead to event B.

No, I believe that our "fate" is based upon the decisions we make here & now. What we do today will effect our tomorrow. Decide wisely!

I do. So many things have happened to me that could be put down to coincedence - but I think its fate.

I think so. Have you ever noticed that sometime no matter how hard you try something goes wrong without explanation making you think it was never meant to be.
