Actually I have, to get out of a bad marriage. I was so ready to get out of it, that I let him have it all, and I have no regrets. The marriage was awful, and at that point I just wanted out, I didn't care about all the stuff. I walked away, and started over.

Guy on ebay did something similar, sold off everything he owned and bought a house in a totaly different state, starting over.
