If we assume ..we all have spirits and that all human life forms are energy based then science should be able to prove their existence by means of measureing energy forces and /or audio equipment should be able to pick it up if it is fine tuned

I have no idea what the term "spirit" means.

If it's just the self-awareness that we all (presumably) feel then science hasn't had much success in identifying it, though most scientist that deal with this issue think that it somehow exists.

As for spirits of dead persons and other superstition, the fact that the have never been proven to exist as well as the fact that there's no scientific reason to expect them to exist is enough reason for scientists not to waste their time on the issue.

If it's something metaphysical, then it's outside the scope of science. Ask your guru instead.

Actually there is a scientific explanation about the "spirit". Try looking up what you can about 'the Quantum Hologram'. I believe that may have something close to what you're looking for. It's just a theory of course, but it basically explains that this universe we live in is only a physical manifestation for our spiritual existance. A sort of, secondary reality that is ruled by our conscious mind.
