And perhaps YOU should help your son with his homework instead of us?
In any event, I would not introduce my kid to Yahoo! Answers. All sorts of strange people lurk here, and the content is often not suitable for his age.

try this ,i do with my kid it helps.
i will let my kid write down whatever the kid feels about the project,and submit it to me.
i take that,take out the points in order of importance and expand where necessary,
using the net i collect more info on the sub topics .a couple of lines per point helps.
this way the work is by the child and improvised by us.then the child als shares theat he has done some work on his own aanda sense of ownership
also he knows how he can improve.
u can do the same for language papers as well\n joy

Health and hygeine are very much closely connected and inter-related. It can be simply explained by the saying "Better hygiene..better health..and lesser the hygiene..more diseases."!
Ask your son to start off like this !!..
Then naturally the different methods of maintaining a good hygeinic environment can be explained with the help of an illustration..(REF: text book )..
Follow it with an illustration // a tabular column of different diseases with the ,modes of spread like water borne diseases (eg Jaundice, ),
airborne diseases (eg: Influenza) and so on...
You have started off...
Another illustration can be made about an ill-maintained house environment with ...Do's and dont's....
I have given you the start and the idea...

children who are kept very clean and protected from germs by their mothers are more likely to pick up infections when they present, On the other hand children who play dirty and mix a lot with other children. never seem to catch much of anything because they develope immunities to everything
Of course this does not apply to dental hygeine You can never keep your teeth too clean

The benefits are that they grow without diseases and infections
