Clean it out! That's quite discusting! Your bum won't fall off unless it magically happens when you "undo" your belly button. It's where your cord used to be, not related at all to your butt!

God no, don't touch it. It holds all of your inside in, and all of your outsides out.
If you do end up undo-ing it, make sure your sitting down when you do, that way your bum will stay on.
Then get some crazy glue and a staple gun and take to Advil and call me in the morning.

Why not use a vacuum cleaner to remove the fluff? But be careful not to kill all the forna that will have manifested itself in your belly button since you were five.
