I give you Peter Weller in Robocop, Willem Defoe in Platoon, the punch in the back of the head, coming out the front of the face in Braindead, the gunshot to the head in The Proposition, pickaxe to eye in The Hills Have Eyes (remake) and eye gouge at the end of 28 Days Later.

Yes, Irreversable is a horrid film, the rape scene is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever seen. And when it gets to the end, and they're in bed thinking 'today's gonna be great' made me bawl like a baby. Could only watch the film once, brilliant but disturbing.

The fire extinguisher scene in Irreversible has to be the worst I have ever seen.

Or best, depends how you look at it.

Willem Dafoe in "Wild At Heart" (Dir. David Lynch).

When he falls on his shotgun and blows his own head off, and it goes up in slow-mo and caroms off the front of the building and falls to the ground and spins around...

Because it made me think of the head scene in Eraser Head, and so at long last I finally at least got a laugh out of a David Lynch film.

The 2 car crash scenes at the beginning of Final Destination 2. Those were AWESOME! I get around log trucks as fast as I can after seeing that movie.

I think that the death of peewee herman in buffy the vampire slayer (the movie) was the best death. It went on for what, nearly 10 mins? It was ages. He had the most incredible death throes. Very campily done.

How the Sheriff of Nottingham died in Robin Hood. Totally unbelievable and therefore hilarious.
Or Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction. That was so bad that it was funny.
