When I bought an Xbox 360 I was kind of dissapointed at the thickass power cable and the chunky power brick, add to that the louder internal fan and it's as rugged and loud as a PC (and so I sold it...)

If the PlayStation 3 is going to have enev more processing power and cfonsumtion needs, do you think it will also have a chunky aşş power supply?

They already admitted it will have a power brick, my guess that it will be at least the same size. As to that loud internal fan, man I think your system had a problem. I have a 360 and it doesn't have a loud internal fan. Either that or maybe you should have listened to the games instead of muting the sound, no wait mine doesn't make ANY sound. As to the power cord, have you ever heard of hiding things. You put them behind the system, in an area where you don't need to go, and you don't have to see them. I mean why would you need that much access to the power cord when you are using the system?

u sold a system because of a power brick?(That's a stupid reason!) I didn't think it was that bad i rather have a big power brick than a small one that can't take the power needed to power the 360 and catch on fire! And it makes that much noise because with so much stuff cramed in a small box the fans need to move fast so it won't overheat which is the reason why it is so loud.

Xbox 360 is a product of Microsoft. So it doesn't surprise me that it'll have characteristics like a common PC. From the beginning Microsoft couldn't stand the high antagonism of Sony, so Microsoft tried to "copy" Sony and mimic the success of Sony's with some cheap console with graphics lower than a PC. And it tries to have a little bit more sales JUST to gain even more money (Microsoft have already A LOT of money), without caring to offer to the buyers any kind of entertainment.
So to answer to your question I just think Sony would probably looked that kind of problem with the internal fan.

I plenty choose Xbox becuse of the Dashboard and the Halo sequence. additionally the controllers and Xbox stay useful aspects inclusive of 8 human beings social gathering chat. additionally, I comprehend that Blue-ray on the PS3 purely makes it possible for greater content on the disk, not greater efficient photographs/audio unlike some human beings.
