The US considers itself to be the only superpower, mostly because they don't want to acknowledge that any country that isn't white could possibly be powerful (which has been true for hundreds of years), which is why they don't respect the fact that China and India are growing powers, will one day match and overtake the US economically, militarily and in terms of dominance.

Thanks to Pres. Ronald Reagan, the USA won the Cold War to become the only Super Power.

They aren't the superpower. Militarily yes...but economically they are not. I can see China will rise to the top list among the Superpower Nations in a few decade. Well wait and see.

No, I won't. I don't think we are the most powerful nation any longer. We have abused the respect we once had and are now very disrespected, with reason, by countries across the globe. I do think it's possible, with new leadership, for us to get our reputation back.
