I thankfully was never bullied at school. Yet, I did witness and see others who were bullied. The thing with bullies is that they are usually bullies simply due to their own lack of self-esteem, jealousy towards the person they are bulling, or some other hidden agenda. In any case, it can be very hard on the person being bullied (especially if they are passive, and not prone to being aggressive). These are usually the ones targeted by bullies anyway as they are ultimately cowards in disguise.

However, to get back to your question – I can imagine leaving school and that environment was a definite plus for them. However, if someone is bulling you, you do not have to sit there and take it. Forget what the other kids might think of you; tell your parents, a school administrator or someone you trust. School is a place for learning and interacting with friends. School should not be a daily stress on you because of some simple-minded mean child who decides to torment you everyday.

O… and if your not being bullied, then just keep in mind what I said…lmao!

yes I was, and yes I believe that I am doing better. Most of the people who bullied me are still stuck in the same boring little town with their boring little lives. I on the other hand have travelled, got an education and had a decent kind of career. My personal life is better than it's ever been. I think I would thank those sad people for teaching me that trying to fit into their crowd would have been the worst possible thing I ever could have done- only I knew that to begin with which just goes to show how incredibly stupid they were.

To be honest I think they picked on me because they just didn't like the fact that somebody wouldn't actually want to know them because of their stupidity.

yeah i was bullied, and it was about the most stupidest thing ever - it was because i'm welsh, and they could see i was hurt by the simple little welshy ryhmes, and i was young, and i'm a sensitive gal so i take things to heart quite alot of the time.
It went from name calling to physically hurting me, but me being so small i was an easy target, but then... one day i met a friend, a good friend and she stood up for me and it was the best day ever - but unfortunately she moved away.

If i was to say if im doing better now, well... yes and no... i mean i was quite a brainy gal in school anyway, umm but even though im alot older i still find those welsh jokes hurtful - sometimes theres things you just can't let go....

But the people who took the mick are now in booster classes and sha.gging every guy they can get, so bleh to them really =)

I was one of those kids who always got bullied. The school bully was huge and ginger, the last time he tried to bully me I accidentally broke his leg and as he screamed I knocked most of his teeth out. He never bullied again, I became the smallest school hero ever. I later went on to teach karate and other martial arts, i have never been bullied again and whenever confronted by bullies, I never back down and because of my confidence, I rarely need to fight.

I was never bullied at school, just the usual name calling, school playground stuff. I think bullies are the scum of the earth and if I ever saw anyone, or if any my children were being bullied I would not stand for it.

I was never bullied at school, but I know a guy who was and he is very well off now. I would guess that bullies, because the type of people they are, would not be very successful in life.

i was bullied at school because i am a quiet person (well was i am a martial artist now) and um i am not sure about the one who moved away but the other one wasnt accepted into college because she was too thick. about the one who moved away lets just say about 8 months before she left i gave her a free nose job.. she came to school after the weekend with remaining bruises under her eyes- serves her right for attacking me. well less about that, lets just say my life will be better than theirs because they always lacked intelligence to get anywhere

i am nearly 16... and i was "LOSER" in junior school... i was going to continue high school at the same school but my dad saw i wasn't happy and said "whats to point when youre not happy"
so i left to another school... which i like more... i've got really good friends compare to my old school where no one wanted to be near me. Now I'm still considered "weird" but I'm more respected and occasionally bullied but i stick up and move on...
