I have read Colonel Todd's book 'Annals and antiquities of Rajputana'. In the book he states that Krishna's elder brother Balram did not take part in the Mahabharata war. Balram used to wear a Tiger skin for a robe and the 'Plough' was his weapon. After the war, he migrated to Greeece. He was Hari Kuli or from the family of Hari , the other name for krishna. Balaram later became famous by the name Hercules in Greek mythology. Colonol Todd also writes that the greeks distorted so many Indian names that it became difficult to trace the origin of these names

Criminy, I can't reember the name of the god...but yes. If you hike waaaay back into Vedic texts, there's a god that was carried into India by the Aryans that came out of Greco-Roman mythology.

OK, after some rummaging, came up with this:

""In Rig Veda, the gods of Dyaus is the same as the Greek Zeus (Roman Jupiter), Mitra is the same as the Graeco-Roman Mithras, Ushas is the same as the Greek Eos (Roman Aurora), and Agni is the same as the Graeco-Roman Ignis. "

A few gods, it appears.
