four straight times now....

and no, they won't make the playoffs.

I like the way all Red Sox fans say that there is 40+ games left in the season and the season isn't over yet....

This was a key 5-game series against the Yankees and theyh absolutely blew it....what an embarassament for them and their fans. They had the opportunity and all 5 games were at FENWAY!!!

Playoffs? No way....they won't catch the Yankees and will probably fall short a game or two in the wild card race.

This season they will be always saying they will pick up a game in the standings tomorrow.... but eventually the tomorrow's will run out and their season will be over.

With round sixty video games left interior the season it truly is particularly not user-friendly to inform. The Twins are on a roll at present. The White Sox at the prompt are not playing properly. Detroit keeps wonderful each and every man or woman. Boston won't be able to eliminate the Yankees or maybe as huge apple receives healthful in some weeks Boston more beneficial effectual seem out!! i imagine it really is particularly great for the game. No sparkling winner.

They have a rough go with series against Yanks, WhiteSox and Twins. 28 games total including October 1st season finale. 10 games left in August, next 9 are on West coast against Oakland, Mariners and Angels. If I was them I'd sign for 5-4 right now. If they won 25 more games total that would give them 94 wins. They'd certainly be in contention. They could help themselves a great deal by sweeping their games against KC, Orioles and Tampa Bay and by doing well against White Sox, Twinkies and Yankees. Of course I just described like a 16-2 or 15-3 run, I'm not sure they have the pitching, particularly out of the bullpen from what they showed this weekend for such a run. The guys who smoked my Mets earlier this summer need to come out and play.

Nope, no chance. The Red Sox happen to have the toughest reamaining schedule in the entire league, almost all of their games are against teams who have records over .500. By the way, its 5 1/2 games and its gonna be 1 more game after today.

Go Yanks!

only chance they have is the wild card, and if the Twins keep playing as well as they have been, Red Sox will have to start winning and hope the Yankees start losing

Nope. Even if they do, you can't expect any two of New York, Minnesota, and Chicago to fall apart, so get the tee times set up now, Red Sux. Golf season starts October 2.

no, they unfortuately did not get the help they needed to take it to the next level. Every other contender has made moves to pick up and extra bat or arm...the Red sox sat on their hands and will be watching from the sidelines come october!!

well considering how many injury's they have had i don't think so and even if they win 20+ games does not mean that they will make it they have some very good teams ahead of them and most likely they will play well and keep Boston out of it
