It's not bad.. but watch out, the new windows Vista needs more resources than you have on that laptop.. you won't be able to upgrade to that.. besides 15.4' is a bit, if you want to travel a lot with it and 3 kilos ain't nothing.. you^ll be able to watch any movie and listent to music and write documents, it will work fine

The thing you want to keep in mind is how long it is going to last in the long run concerning speed and upgradeability ( is that even a word?) Concerns such as will the current hardware run Vista properly and efficiently? Is the max amount of RAM good enough to make it for the next few years (for example, a laptop that can only upgrade to 1GB max won't be worth it's salt in 1-2 years), can the video be upgraded? If all these things are upgraded, will heat be an issue?

these are things you have to take into consideration when buying a new laptop. I looked long and hard before choosing an Alienware and it will last for @ least 5 years with just what I have in there right now. Good luck!

Only bad thing I see is the Memory.
I would want 1 GB. Windows XP is
a memory hog. The more RAM the better.
