I don't think it's either or. It's just something that happens. Like being attracted to blondes but not brunettes.

Personally I think being homophobic is a choice. So, I guess that falls under retardation if I understand your question correctly. I think homophopia is similar to racism. You are choosing not to like a certain group of people because of their beliefs, likes, etc. You aren't born hating a certain kind of person. You make that choice.

concerning your very last question, it really is a arguable situation and that i trust it really is going to go back all the way down to what the kinfolk feels is ideal. i understand of persons who're mentally retarded who carry close the concept of kinfolk and assuming the region of a husband or spouse and, sometime, a figure. there became a mentally retarded couple who lived mutually, who seemed to be the embodiment of what's seen to be a "generic" couple. to respond to your question: certain, they do have the favor to be in love and get married.

Judging from the question I would say you are about 15. I dont need anyone to ask questions for me, because I know what HOMOPHOBIC is, and frankly I think gays can do what they want, just leave me alone, and enjoy our free country. In the mean time, you should ask questions that you need answered relating to you!!!!!

Homophobics are either that way because they are insecure with their own sexuality or they have had this impression forced on them by their parents/guardians. It is so morally objectionable it scares me to think what sort of parents would bring their child up to discriminate against others.

homophobia is caused by lack of knowledge, lack of understanding and a lack of brains. i am a straight woman engaged to a man but i would never judge something i have no understanding about, as far as i am concerned, for people who are gay, it is as normal to them as us straight people fancying the opposite sex. i think those that take homophobia to the extreme are possibly closet gays. i guess it also depends on your parents attitude, tho my dad is against same sex relationships, it had never affected my own ability to choose what i think is right or wrong. and i don't think being gay is either, it is just a case of people being in love, so how can that be wrong?
we are all too quick to judge people who choose a different lifestyle.

homophobics are either misinformed or have a fear. It is not retardation or genetic because I certainly am not homophobic and my sons are ridiculously homophobic and quite frankly it pisses me off!

I THINK IT IS HOW U WERE BROUGHT UP. HOW PEOPLE AROUND U HAVE TAUGHT U 2 C IT. COULD ALSO BE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN. SOCIETY LABELS PEOPLE AND THEIR ACTIONS. WE ARE TAUGHT TO BELIEVE THE MAJORITY INSTEAD OF COMING TO OUR OWN CONCLUSION. I AM NOT GAY OR BI. WAS BROUGHT UP TO THINK IT WAS TERRIBLE BUT MET SOME COOL PEEP WHO WERE AND FOUND OUT THEY R JUST LIKE US. THEY HAVE FEAR, LOVE HAPPINESS. THEY HAVE FAMILY AND FRIENDS THEY LOVE JUST THE SAME AS US. IF U WERE PUT ON AN ISLAND WITH ALL GAY PEEP WHEN U WERE BORN THEN THIS WOULD BE THE NORM TO U. GENETICS HAS NO ROLE IN IT.

Neither. It's how you were raised. As an adult, it should be a conscious decision. Someone's sexual preference isn't infectious. You don't become gay if a gay guy touches you.
Not a retardation. Not genetic.

Homophobic is usually caused by suppressed homosexual feelings...and fear that someone will find out. See...we're not afraid to answer your questions, either.
