My best friend is Brandon hes the same sex. I think its better bcoz if it was the opposite sex we might fool around and mess up the friendship.

Same sex because if it's opposite you're more than likely to start dating which may or may not destroy the friendship. However, when you're married, your partner should be your best friend.

Strangely enough it's my ex-husband. We're still great friends even though the love is gone (we realized this in the marriage before it got to the point we hated and resented each other). He's one of my closest friends because he knows me best and doesn't bullsh*t me. Most of my closest friends are guys. They tend to be more loyal where a lot of female friends tend to backstab you one way or another eventually. At least in my experience.

My best friend is my husband. WE love each other and get along very well and know each other well. I can share anything with him and I know he'll still love me. It's a wonderful relationship.

opposite sex cos i think girls are interesting and more of my "feelings" flow toward girls! she gives me a lot of laughs, EVERYDAY! she's sweet, nice and comforting too! not many guys can do that, i think!
