I started wearing them about three weeks ago and I really like them. So far no crazy pain or problems, what do you think?

If you are a clerk and not part of management then its ok. If you are comfortable in the position you are holding then its probably ok to keep wearing them. Sounds crazy but in the corporate world there are some "dress codes" we generally have to follow. Its old fashioned but its the truth. So do what ever makes you happy and live life to the fullest. But just make sure you know the consequences of your actions and how it affects your life.

You don't experience problems while wearing them. It is when you start wearing shoes with lower heels and flats when you experience problems. Some of your muscles and tendons are "locked" in to a certain position after extended wearing of high heels. This is when you start experiencing pain.

Continue wearing them for a longer time and you will suffer from posture problem. Maybe you're trying to make up for your lack of height. If you still need to wear heels, why not settle for 3".

Along side with torturing your back and affecting your posture, if you wear your 5" heels to work, what do you wear to dinner, date, or a party?
Try to create a significant difference in your look to work and that to what's after work. However, in both cases, make sure you're looking good and stylish.

If you aren't hurting and no one else is complaining about it wear them. They can through your back out of alignment so I would give it a break in about another week and switch out every few days to something not quite as high.

Five inch heels aren't really considered business attire, and more importantly high heels are bad for your posture and the bone structure of the feet.

Its up to you but you could run into problems in the future, if it starts hurting when you wear flats its time to cut back wearing them.

I think if it makes you feel good, then why not. So what you have to wear slippers when your old. When did you ever see an old woman say 'Iwish I'd never worn those high heels so much'

Not at all... You have every right to wear 5" heels to work.
If it makes you feel good then do it.
I think your brilliant just for being your own person.
