||x - 3| - 4| < 6

same as saying

|x - 3| - 4 < 6 or |x - 3| - 4 > -6
|x - 3| < 10 or |x - 3| > -2

same as saying

x - 3 < 10 or x - 3 > -10
x < 13 or x > -7

ANS : -7 < x < 13

The reason i didn't try to find |x - 3| > -2 is because you can't have a absolute value with a negative answer.

The answer is -7
|X-3| = 0 to 10
only largest value important in this case:
13-3=10,
|-7-3|=10
