Use OCR (Optical Character Recognition)_ Software provided along with yoru SCanner and try correcting it.
Although only Characters can be corrected and not the images.
If not download a OCR Software from the web.

There are some softwares for character recognition but not so effective... I believe in Adobe Photoshop! A professional knowledge & time dedication on Adobe PS can make it. Find a better OCD rather..

You can also make changes in a scanned image by Windows Paint. But first you have to know the usage of Windows Paint
