Trying to charge a solar battery and wanted to know the exact number a 6 volt deep cycle battery would read on a vultometer(it's and Interstate workaholic 6 volt deep cycle battery.

6.35 volts

If you are trying to design something like a charger, you can just charge a 6 volt battery with about 7.2 volts with limited current. That is what a car voltage regulator would do.

If you want to do a better, faster, more efficient charger then you need to read up on the web about the different phases of optimal charging.

A 6 volt battery would hold 6 volts.

Get a data sheet from the manufacturer and look up the charging specifications.

If it is lead / acid it would be about 6.4 volts
